I just read an interesting article about the link between identity theft and illegal immigration. It explains how many illegal immigrants are being caught with false or stolen identities. This information came as a result of a 10 month investigation by the ICE, US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, in which they discovered that many undocumented immigrants were using social security numbers of US citizens for unlawful employment.
